Oral Health Info
Free multilingual patient education
Oral Health Info is free oral health education for patients, published in multiple languages at oralhealth.info. It is written for people who are hardest to reach with standard patient material: people waiting for treatment, people with special educational needs and disabilities, and people whose first language is not English.
Who it is for
Oral Health Info is aimed at three groups who are consistently underserved by standard patient information. It is free to use and free to link to, with no account and no charge to patients or practices.
People waiting for treatment
Guidance for patients on an NHS waiting list: what to do in the meantime, what to watch for, and when to seek urgent care. Waiting is when self-care matters most and information is hardest to find.
People with special educational needs and disabilities
Oral health guidance written for people with special educational needs and disabilities, and for the families and carers supporting them with daily mouth care.
People whose first language is not English
Material published in multiple languages, because oral health guidance that a patient cannot read is not guidance.
