About

Built by a dentist who had to do this four times

Simplify HCS was founded in 2021 by Nagini Vallamkonda, a GDC-registered dentist practising in London and a member of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, Cohort 8. Building clinical software while practising made the gap obvious: the standards that govern digital clinical safety are mandatory, detailed, and almost entirely unsupported by tooling.

Nagini Vallamkonda, Founder and Clinical Safety Officer

Our products are the ones we needed and couldn’t buy. Every one of them was taken through DCB0129 in a working primary care setting, by the person who also had to see patients that week.

A Clinical Safety Officer must be a registered healthcare professional in current clinical practice. That requirement is why clinical safety tooling is so thin: the people qualified to sign the documents are the people with the least time to build software. Our founder is in both groups.
