Why there is no cookie banner
UK law requires consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Because we set none, there is nothing to consent to, so there is no banner. A banner that asks permission for cookies a site does not set is theatre, and it makes the real consent people give elsewhere mean less.
What our contact form does
The contact form sends what you type to our email service so we can reply. It does not set a cookie and it does not store anything in your browser. What happens to the message afterwards is covered in our privacy notice.
Fonts and other third parties
Typefaces are served from this site rather than from a third-party font service, so loading a page does not send your IP address to another company. We embed no videos, no maps, no chat widgets and no social media scripts.
Server logs

How to control cookies generally
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings, and lets you see what a site has stored. Blocking cookies will not affect this site, because it does not rely on any.
